Hi,
It's a lot easier to install ADMB than it used to be, but your help
file for Windows Borland C++ 5.5.1 is incorrect, posted at
http://admb-project.org/documentation/admb-installation-borland
1. I could not get BCC from "Download and install Borland C++ Compiler
from http://www.codegear.com/downloads/free/cppbuilder" [but have a
copy myself]
2. "Using a text editor, edit admb-borland-vars.bat" This file does
not exist, the file to edit is "c:/admb/bin/set-admb-bcc551.bat"
3. The compilation code does not work. You say go to C:\ADMB and type
"make" but there is no make.bat file there or anywhere else. Instead,
you need to "c:\admb\examples\admb\simple" and run “makadmbs simple”
or “makadmb simple”, and then type "simple" to run the executable.
Best wishes,
Trevor Branch
