Well I fixed it already in my code.
How it get into new corrected releases is beyond my perview.
the reason it gets big in your example is because the bounded function
lacks a proper automatic scaling. with big bounds like that it
get scaled up to maxb-minb.  It would be fairly simple to fix this
as well ... and the list goes on.
