Thanks a lot, Dave. I have to use gmail to answer this.

I missed a 0 in the cbs option. so yes, indeed, 9GB in both gbs and
cbs option.

It is indeed a memory problem. What I tried is that I added another
funnel_dvariable in the dynamic programming function, so it is running
now, but very slowly. I guess I still have to optimize it to make it
faster.
