Hello Dave,<br><br>Thank you for your response. I was using 
gcc 4.6.3 and had installed admb from admb-11-linux-gcc4.6-64bit.zip. However, there was seemingly some incompatibility between the compiler version and the preconfigured admb.<br>
<br>I have since 
installed ADMB from source and the problem is resolved.<br>
<br>My apologies for the query - I should have compiled from source first.<br><br>Thanks for your time,<br>
