Hi Brandon,

I believe this set of compilation scripts will solve your problem: 
http://admb-project.org/community/editing-tools/admb-ide/scripts-bcc55.zip

Place them in your ADMB bin directory and then build mixed-effects models 
like this:

   admb -r model
