Of course it could be something else. Personally I hate packages that 
pretend to let you use them
without knowing what you are doing. first thing you could do is to find 
out where simple.tpl is
located. say it is in z:\dir1\subdir2\subdir3 then change to that 
directory. if you don't know how
ask google. then type

                   admb.bat simple
and see what you get.
