[ADMB Users] ADMB as a backbone of an R package - how difficult is this?

My experience is that it is  pretty difficult.
You can get 98% of the way the fairly easily, but then
some problem will arise and you probably need some level of sophistication
to get past it.

This of course presupposes that it is a worthwhile effort to develop for R
in the first place.
